Buttero double shoulders are exquisite vegetable-tanned leather from the Walpier tannery in Tuscany, Italy. Buttero is characterized by a smooth grain side surface with deep, rich colors.

We have two options for the underside:

No Resin
Resin: The underside of the leather has a resin coating (acrylic & wax), which gives it an extremely finished look. Many people say the underside looks just as good as the grain side! This is best if your project is unlined or you need a really clean underside.

This leather is perfect for a variety of end uses… bags, accessories, belts, straps, and more. It’s going to be very durable. Like all vegetable-tanned leathers, this leather will show wear and age beautifully over time.
