More rustic than our base Essex line, Dublin is a veg tan infused with a rich blend of natural waxes and then hot plated. It has all the supple characteristics of Essex with a darker surface color that showcases the natural grain.

A note on color range
Please expect there to be a color range with this leather. The oils and waxes can take differently due to a number of factors that will cause the color to vary from shipment-to-shipment. You will see the most variation with the English Tan and Natural.
A note on Natural
Think of Natural not as a color, but rather a condition of the leather. Horween applies a wax to the base leather color, and the wax will take differently due to a number of factors (ie. heat and humidity).
Rustic & Worn
Dublin is tanned using our Cordovan vegetable tanning liquor formulas which are over 100 years old. Within the tanning process, the leather incorporates a richer blend of oils and waxes than traditional vegetable tanned leathers, which results in a leather that will age beautifully. In our finishing department, the Dublin leather is infused with a rich blend of natural waxes and then ironed to create a smooth surface with a rich tonal appearance that showcases the natural grain.
Recommended Leather Care:
Specifically formulated for use on Horween Leathers, this mild blend conditioner is great for use on Chromexcel, Dublin, Essex and Cordovan. The Leather Conditioner will re-nourish the leather and will give the leather a mild shine.

Care Instructions:
1. Brush the item to remove dirt and dust.
2. Apply Renovateur Cleaner and Conditioner sparingly with a white cotton cloth.
3. Leave to dry for three minutes.
4. Polish the leather with a soft cotton or wool glove.
