Essex is a combination of new and old technologies. Essex starts with a modern wet-white pre-tannage and then gets a full vegetable tannage using Horween's old fashioned, time proven Shell Cordovan tanning liquors. Next, an enriched blend of fats, oils and greases are tanned into the leather giving the leather durability, softness and a rich round feel. Available in both earth tones and natural veg colors. The weight ranges are from 3.5oz up to 9oz.

Essex is tanned using our Cordovan Vegetable tanning liquor formulas that are over 100 years old. The Essex line has a richer blend of oils and waxes than traditional vegetable tans, which results in a softer, supple full-grain leather. Essex, and its waxed versions, Dublin and Derby, took us nearly three years to develop and perfect.

Renovateur Cream is the “must-have” product for any leather goods aficionado. Containing beeswax, lanolin and mink oil, it gently cleans while adding nourishment and protection to the leather. Renovateur Cream is highly regarded by leather care specialists as the best leather care product in the world!
Suitable For:
Renovateur Cleaner and Conditioner is suitable for use on fine smooth leather, including box calf (calfskin), goat, and specialty leather such as cordovan. It can be used on a wide array of leather goods such as leather bags, jackets, shoes, and book covers.

Care Instructions:
1. Brush the item to remove dirt and dust.
2. Apply Renovateur Cleaner and Conditioner sparingly with a white cotton cloth.
3. Leave to dry for three minutes.
4. Polish the leather with a soft cotton or wool glove.
