Essence is a buttery soft leather with Scotchgard™ built into the tannage, making it one of the very few aniline leathers with some stain repellency. Essence exhibits a slightly pebbled surface while the drape of the leather lends itself to a variety of applications. Subtle variations in tone and intensity are natural and give each piece its individual character. Visible insect-bites, wrinkles, and healed scars should be expected.
