Rugged & Natural

This is a rugged fashion leather, with a character all of its own. We have used our original tannage, which is designed to shrink the fibre structure by up to 25%, in order to create an appearance which after impregnation with our blend of waxes is unique. The tight fibre structure prevents any ‘opening’ or stretching over the toe, and our traditional, rich dyeings work with the waxes during wear, to produce a wonderful combination of natural texture and colour. Fully waterproof and Gore-Tex compatible.

Soft & Sporty

This is a production of top quality suede for men’s footwear, tanned to give the soft, natural handle of a genuine ‘hunting suede’. This suede has a soft feel and a ‘sporty’ appearance. Available in a full range of rich colours, with aniline full grain reverse for a sophisticated and attractive lining.

Rich & Resistant

A range of high quality, fine-napped calf suede for men’s dress and casual footwear, tanned to give a full, generous handle and rich appearance. Fully treated with ‘Scotch Guard’ in the tannage, to achieve a high degree of resistance to staining in general. The proofing remains effective throughout the life of the footwear.

Unique & Casual

Kudu is an antelope from southern Africa, whose skins have unique characteristics. This interesting finished leather is soft suede on the reverse side and a nubuck on the grain side. The fibre structure is well suited to our “Janus” tannage, resulting in a strikingly soft touch on the suede side, whilst maintaining a high degree of strength.

On the grain side, there are interesting natural blemishes which have been highlighted by processing the skin as a nubuck. There are scars and cuts on both sides, which are more superficial than structural. However, these characteristics make a unique casual appearance, especially in the stitch-down construction.
